Our Story

We are two cousins from Nepal who discovered our purpose far from the mountains of our childhood in the warmth, aroma and rhythm of an Italian kitchen.

Our journey began with nothing but just pure curiosity. As young chefs, we were drawn to the elegance of Italian cuisine, and that's where it all started. The Italian way of cooking which is driven by passion, patience and unwavering respect for every ingredient, actually resonated deeply with us. What started as fascination soon became devotion, and that devotion grew into a shared dream and Oro by Sogno Italiano is the fulfilment of that dream.

After years of training, travelling and learning from remarkable mentors, we set out to create a place where the flavors of Italy are honoured with the same integrity as in their homeland. Today, as an Italian restaurant in Broadbeach, Oro brings this dream to life through authentic Italian flavours and heartfelt hospitality.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Me and my family visited recently. And we absolutely loved our experience. Warm and inviting space, friendly and lovely staff and most importantly the food was amazing. My absolute favourite was the variety of seafood, fresh and cooked so well. Followed closely by the aranchini balls so delicious. My kids and husband rated there pasta dishes aswell.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dropped in here by chance (no booking) bc we couldn't decide on a spot. Well.. So glad we did. Seriously amazing food. Asked the waiter for his recommendation - slow cooked ragu - and it was a 11/10. Home made pasta, fresh, cooked to perfection. OH had the fish. Super fresh and beautifully cooked. If you are wanting the finest Italian in Broadbeach, give Oro by Sogno Italiano a try.
